Almost There!

Here we go - Only three days until our goal of going live with our site and we're just about ready!   Not a bad day to kick back and watch the NHL All-Stars play up in Ottawa...they're all so talented, as evidenced yesterday in the skills competition (108.8 MPH slap shot from Chara - good luck blocking that one).

We're all excited to put the finishing touches on the site and bring you great deals on all kinds of hockey tape.  In addition to our tape, we just partnered with an awesome company called Secret Weapon Stick Wax...they make an unreal stick wax called Incredible Ice and they're a great group of guys who love the game just as much as we do.  There's ALWAYS free shipping on Secret Weapon Stick Wax through our site, so order some and give it a try!

The countdown is on...just a few more days!

Gearing Up!

Here we are - January 4th...just under a month away from our goal of launching HockeyTapeOnline.com and we couldn't be more excited!  What a perfect time in the hockey world we're currently in...Christmas just passed, the 2012 NHL Winter Classic was just played in Philly, and in the middle of it all is the IIHF World Juniors in Alberta, Canada.

It's crazy how skilled each player is in the tournament (all are under age 20) - While many expect to see perennial contenders Canada & the U.S. go head-to-head in the finals, it's easy to overlook other powerful squads like Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, & Russia.  Many players who will take to the ice in this year's tournament are extremely close to realizing their dream of an NHL career.  No fewer than 57 players who played in the 2010 and 2011 competitions already have made their League debut - a statistic in itself that shows how much of a measuring stick this event really is.

Well, it's back to work on our end of things - we need to work out the kinks so we can get you all the tape you need!
