Heading into Winter...

While the NHL season is still in a lockout (and the Winter Classic was just formally cancelled), the rest of the hockey world is firing on all cylinders.  Here at HockeyTapeOnline, we've found our way into a number of locker rooms across North America ranging from college, to juniors, and right on throughout a ton of different youth organizations.  To say we're happy is an understatement.

It's a shame to see that we can't currently watch the most talented professionals play right now in the U.S. but there are plenty of other options out there.  Where do you live?  Look around - there are plenty of talented junior leagues and teams to go along with a wide range of D1 & D3 NCAA teams to watch.  On top of all of that, there are a ton of different professional hockey leagues out there (SPHL, CHL, ECHL, AHL, etc) where you can actually see a solid group of NHL regulars playing due to the current lockout.

From the NHL all the way down to the youngest group of hockey players out there, everyone uses hockey tape...we're growing rapidly and continue to find our way into more and more locker rooms at various levels throughout North America and we want to thank our customers for giving us the opportunity to show them how we can help to save money!

Well, after a summer full of laughs, hockey, and time with family & friends, we continued to spend a good deal of our time working on the website to offer our customers the best service and pricing possible.  The latest update?  You guessed it:

FREE SHIPPING!  Right now, we're able to offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders in the continental US!

In addition to our growing range of D1 & D3 NCAA teams, junior teams/ leagues across the country, and many new individual orders from players, parents, and coaches, we've been able to also help a variety of youth hockey organizations save money on tape with our new fundraising program.  It's a very simple way for an organization to access our hockey tape at rock-bottom prices while generating a modest profit to help benefit their fundraising efforts.  For more information, give us a shout/ email any time!

Many thanks to our growing customer base for all of their support - it's been a great ride so far and we can't wait to keep the updates coming!

Great reviews for!

A short while back, we had the good fortune of connecting with our friends at Hockey World Blog, where we had a series of great conversations that resulted in their trying out our service.   Check out what they had to say by clicking the link below:

Needless to say, we were quite excited to see that they enjoyed the quality of our products, but they also did a great job of spreading the word on our unbeatable prices.  This, coupled with steady growth on Facebook & Twitter has helped us to continue to reach more and more people to show them how to save money within our awesome sport.

We've secured several great college customers throughout the country and couldn't be happier!  For a small company, things are going great and we love interacting with so many people who share a passion for our game.

Recent Happenings

With the warm weather moving in and longer days full of bright sunlight, we can officially say that summer is right around the corner.  This is a great time of year with the NHL Playoffs narrowed down to four teams, an extra hop in every step with improved weather conditions, and of course, summer training to prepare for the upcoming season.

We just had a great day interacting with parents, players, and other companies at the International Goaltending Competition in Tewksbury, MA, and it looks like each athlete was sad to see their most recent seasons come to a close, but they were all excited for a fun summer of good times with friends, training hard, and preparing themselves for a fresh start in the fall.

With a number of recent success stories of our own, we are excited to have grown our customer base to include several D1 & D3 college teams, junior teams, and youth leagues and organizations across the country.  Just like hockey players themselves, we will also be working hard throughout the summer to make sure we're positioned to best-serve the hockey community throughout North America as next season approaches.  Until then, we're enjoying the ride and the challenges that come with it!

Q & A

A friend of ours in North Carolina had been going back and forth through a conversation we were having about a week ago when he raised a great point: What size tape does he typically buy at his local pro-shop?

What a great question - the answer?  It varies!  In different pro-shops around the country, hockey tape is most-typically sold in lengths of 20, 25, or 30 yards.  The two most common widths for cloth tape are either 1 or 1.5 inches while black friction tape is found to have widths of either .75 or 1 inch.  With all these variations out there that you may (or may not) be used to, we felt it made sense to offer as much as possible without getting too crazy/ confusing.  The other notable fact to consider is that if our tape is stored properly (in a cool, dry place like a basement), it will last for 2-3 years on average.  Running low?  Grab a roll from your case and off you go - a little convenience never hurt anyone!

Hockey tape is such a simple product, yet it's one we can't play the game without.  That's exactly why we offer high-quality tape at the best prices around.  No matter what dimensions you prefer for your game, we can get it to you fast and save you a considerable amount of money doing it.
